All participants of any event affiliated with the International Blockchain Olympiad (including but not limited to competitors, judges, and officials) must register with the IBCOL Registrar, unless explicitly exempt by the IBCOL Committee.
Registration by form is preferred but if you are unable to access Google from your internet connection, please send an email to registrar@ibcol.org with the subject [xx] Participant Registration, where xx is the ISO 3166 code for your country (for re-submission or updates, please reply to the same email thread) with the following information:

What is my information collected for?
All information is used for IBCOL events, specifically for identity verification and due diligence. IBCOL events include training sessions, mentorship sessions, matchmaking sessions, symposiums, and competitions.
What if my information is incorrect?
If you did not save your information upon completion, simply send us another set of information or contact a representative of IBCOL or your local blockchain olympiad committee. The IBCOL reserves the right to revoke access or privileges if the information is incorrect.
Who are the sister organizations and strategic partners of IBCOL?
The IBCOL shares information only with the relevant National Blockchain Olympiad Committees (e.g. only the British Blockchain Olympiad will receive only information related to the United Kingdom), and to its sister organization the International Data Science Olympiad and its relevant National Data Science Olympiad committees. The IBCOL also shares information only with three education partners for the purpose of delivering education programs: the Hong Kong Blockchain Society (https://www.hkbcs.org), the Talent Development Institute (https://itdg.io), and the College of Business at the City University of Hong Kong (https://www.cb.cityu.edu.hk).
Will my information be shared or sold to other third party organizations?
No other organization besides those aforementioned explicitly (even sponsors or supporting organizations) have the right to access this information. Any other use of this information will require additional consent from you.
Why do you need those accounts?
The apps from Eventbrite.com, Figma.com, Slack.com, and Zoom.us are used in some online-only events. WhatsApp is a de facto standard for instant messaging and will be used for contacting you if other methods fail.
Why do you need to know where I am?
IBCOL events occur year-round and timezones change. IBCOL tries to accommodate as many people around the world as possible in online-only events.
